StreamlineCE is an online marketplace allowing CE providers to connect seamlessly with freelance content producers (e.g., clinical faculty, medical writers) and organize and coordinate CE activities.
No! All aspects of StreamlineCE are free to access and use by Contributors.
Providers can invite freelancers to create content or can post information and accept applications for opportunities. Freelancers can search the database to find opportunities that fit their expertise and information about CE activities.
No. All other sections contribute to profile completion, but your email preferences do not.
The UCL is a database of profiles that Providers can access when seeking a contributor for an activity. By joining the UCL, you'll be findable by, and can view Opportunities posted by, other providers (not just ones you've worked with before).
Notifications will appear when they are available. Currently, the only notifications you'll receive are invitations to participate in Activities and, if you haven't done so already, a reminder to complete your profile.
"Opportunities" are contributor roles posted by CE/CME Providers. Think of these as job postings that you can apply for.
Your profile has to be complete before you can see or apply to any Opportunities. If your profile is complete and you are still not seeing any Opportunities, contact support@streamlinece.com
To ensure Providers have all the information they need to make an informed decision about who they are selecting for a certain role. The information in your profile is also essential for Providers to collect for accreditation purposes.
The Provider will see portions of your profile (e.g., your credentials, specialty/practice area, affiliations), your resume/CV, any comments you enter, and any relevant financial relationships you disclose.
No. Financial disclosures created when applying for an Opportunity will automatically be added to your profile.
You'll receive a notification on your Dashboard and a Chat from the Provider if you are selected for an Opportunity for which you applied.
Rest assured, the Provider will receive your application. It is up to them when/if they respond. You will be notified if you are selected.
Workspaces are collaboration areas for Activities. Upload/download related files, view Activity information, and discuss the Activity - all in one place.
When you accept an invitation to join an Activity, you are automatically added into that Activity's Workspace.
Public Threads are chats with the entire workspace - anyone in the Workspace (or added to the Workspace in the future) can see Public Threads. Private Threads are only viewable by the individuals selected to join that chat.
Use Chats in the same way that you would directly email with a Provider.
Once you are invited to an Activity (even if you don't accept that invitation), you can message the inviting Provider in the future on the same thread. This is to ensure Providers aren't solicited by individuals they have not worked with in the past.
Threads within a Workspace should be used to discuss the particular Activity they are attached to. Chats can be used for general conversation, discussion. You'll also receive invitation notifications in your Chats.
